Lot of parts to put together but other wise it's goodThis was the most tedious assembly process I’ve experienced for something so small. This took me 4hrs to put together, and I assembled every product in my home by myself with relative ease. This tiny little thing has close to 100 screws/bolts, couldn’t believe it when I saw it. The end product is okay, a solid 6/10, but not at all worth the losing my night.I actually like putting stuff like this together. But this one took about 3 1/2 hours. Big part of the blame goes to the instructions: only pictures - no narrative. Even my wife commented on how long it took to make.It was very easy to assemble. Instructions were very detailed and easy to follow.I needed a rolling file cabinet with drawers to fit under my writing table. This one is great. There's room on top for a hold-all. The front bottom caster is a great for keeping the unit from falling over. All these self-assembling furniture pieces can be a bit of a challenge. This one isn't so bad.The cabinet looks like the pictures, so that's a plus. It looks really nice and once assembled, doesn't look like it's on the cheaper end of file cabinets. I picked it mostly because I needed drawers to go under my desk.Once built, the drawers are more shallow than I anticipated. The top two drawers are not deep enough for a folder or even papers to go in length wise. They have to be put in the drawers sideways. The bottom drawer obviously contains the same depth but if you are hanging the file folders in there, to that degree, they fit. Otherwise the drawers open and close smoothly and the cabinet overall functions well. Again, my only real gripe is that I didn't pay enough attention to the dimensions so it didn't have the depth I was looking for.Assembly was Ikea-style but the pre-drilled holes could hardly be called pre-drilled so it definitely took muscle and determination to get the pieces screwed together and the screws to be flush once screwed in. Once assembled, durability lined up well with expectations of what I was purchasing.This file cabinet is as advertised. Looks are great, which was a consideration for me as it sits in a visible location in my kitchen. Look closely at how much you need to file. Cabinet fills quickly!It was the right size and finish for what I needed, but that’s about the only positive feeling I have towards this problematic piece of storage.I may have used some choice words and thrown a couple things as I assembled this- literally every bit on this has to be built and the instructions are just so-so. It’s also not super sturdy, even less so if you make a mistake in assembling…or kick it once out of malice. So I’m told.In the future- I would humbly beg the manufacturers to at least install the drawer brackets, for the sake of their customers’ sanity. That bare minimum would go a long way.So If you like puzzles and have a stout amount of patience I would 100% recommend this and vodka, otherwise please look to ikea for your furniture building needs.
