I got the three tier version, and each tier can hold two rows of standard document folders 14.5" deep with about a 10"x6.5"x14.5" area left over to do what you please with.The assembly instructions are mostly worthless, that or I'm an idiot, so assembly was a pain. There was a screwdriver included, but the metal in the screwdriver was soft enough as to where the screws actually stripped the biting off the screwdriver which made it utterly unusable before it could even screw one in. I found that odd, but it was only a minor inconvenience since I had my own screwdriver I was not able to actually get the lock set up properly, but I didn't need it to be a locking cabinet in the first place so I frankly didn't try very hard. I just wanted a cabinet to increase my file space while leaving a pseudo-desk space where I can put document trays on top of, and it works well for that.tl;drSure is a filing cabinet. If you're putting it together yourself have a lot of patience, a second set of hands, and a screwdriver because the one included is garbage. Keep in mind that assembly involves bending sheet metal and sheet metal tabs, so if you don't have standard-adult hand and finger strength then find someone who does.I'm working from home now so I bought this for my home office. I like the look, I like the fact that it has casters, and it was the size I wanted.The metal has a solid feel to it. It came assembled, all I had to do was attach the casters. There were a few small parts missing but the seller made it right.My one complaint about the design is that there is nothing that holds the drawers closed except for the lock. So if you don't have the drawers locked they tend to slide open without much encouragement. I used a few magnets to solve the problem.It arrived a little dented on the top side but nothing too bad. Otherwise I would have given it 5 stars. It’s a decent small desk side cabinet to place a printer on top.The white paint on the front had a little chip on it. Not too noticeable but I noticed it. Otherwise it looks great in my office!I liked it but I thought it would be more steady than it is. But I like it. I really appreciate the person that helped me. He was very patient. I'll be 81 the 20th of this month and sometimes I need to talk to someone. Thanks again for your service.Components provided do not match directions. Part E clearly does not match what is included in directions. No idea how to connect part E to the cabinet drawer. Directions do not even indicate when to assembly part E in the written instructions. Wasn't until I was half way through that it was realized part E should have been assembly in first step, again part E has no way of attaching to inside of drawer. Actual part has a bar across the end whereas the picture indicates and open ended piece that should fit inside the unit. Cabinet comes in excessive amounts of pieces for assembly and has a business the amount of time that was attempted to assembly this cabinet is not worth the time or effort.This is not worth the money, it came in 2 shipments, and there were 0 instructions on how to assemble the drawers, the outer portion of the cabinet came almost a week later so I just had drawer parts hanging out n my office during that time. It is NOT easy to assemble and I have put together multiple office/home furniture projects! The drawers are so flimsy as well- just avoid this product!
